Making soup in a rice cooker?

Can someone please provide me with a detailed recipe on how to make chicken and rice soup in a rice cooker? Other rice cooker soup recipes are also appreciated, but I would really like to know how to make chicken and rice soup :) It puzzles me- do I add all the ingredients at once, or in a certain order, etc, etc. I just don't want to end up with a pot full of mushy over cooked rice, or otherwise. Thanks a lot!

RICE COOKER CHICKEN AND RICE SOUP

1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces

    5 c. water

    2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced

    3/4 c. celery

    1/2 c. sliced carrots

    1/2 c. raw converted rice

    1/4 c. chopped green onions

5 tsp. chicken flavored instant bouillon or 5 chicken flavored bouillon cubes

    1/2 tsp. ground sage

    1/4 tsp. pepper

In a rice cooker, combine ingredients. Cover, cook on low setting 7 to 9 hours (or on high setting for 4 hours). Makes about 2 quarts.
