Good is an adjective which qualifies a noun or a pronoun (in this case the pronoun she)
Well is basically an adverb which modifies primarily a verb or an adjective or another adverb.
Well can also be used as an adjective meaning healthy
So she was very well could mean she was healthy or had expertise in some matter .She was very good could mean she had an amiable attitude etc.

It totally depends on the context as both can mean different things.
EG: "How was she when you visited?" "She was very well and sends her love."
"What was the waitress like in the restaurant?" "She was very good, excellent service."
