can somebody identify this bug in my garden?

im in England, the bug in question looked like a cross between a spider and a wasp would probably be the best way to describe it, it had the body of the wasp same shape, size and colour, but had legs as long as a spider of the same scale, no evedence of any wings as it ran away and didnt fly away, any clues guys

    Iit is a wasp spider. Female wasp spiders are 11-15mm and males are 4-4.5mm. The females are distinctively marked with a silvery thorax and black, yellow and white striped abdomen, but the males are pale brown

    Could have been a false widow spider, and they are venomous.

    Tarantula. They're harmless.
