GUYS OPINION PLS: If a long time friend (girl) had romantic feelings for you how would you want to be to told?
I've known him my entire life, and until a few years ago he was just a friend until more than one person noticed how we would make a good couple because of how much we have in common and we always have a good time when we're together....etc. Since then; that's all I think about I've been in love with him for years but haven't had the courage to do anything about it any advise?

Truthfully... You can't really ask other males for opinions mainly because not everyone feels the same way and thus everyone likes to be approached differently. Just tell him that you love/like him and see where that takes you. Try to say it, because you could go on like this for 20 years and he could 1 day die and you'll have wasted 20 years of possible happiness. Maybe he likes/loves you alot but is too shy to ask you to go out with him.

I really can't tell you how to handle this situation since I'm not in it, but if I had to give you any advice it would be to tell him face to face & not have someone else do it for you. I can tell you from personal experience that it sucks to be in that scenario.

Guys are easy. You just gota tell him that you think that there is potential for a dating relationship. Or just tell him you like him. Your situation is alot like mine and I know that's what I would want my girl to tell me.
Answer mine?

if hes a long time friend then he probably already knows... i mean if he knows you that well.
and if youre wondering why he hasnt asked you out, its because hes probably shy and/or scared that hes wrong. so you should just ask him out.
ps. i agree with emma p.

I tell him right place and the right time. Said from heart and feelings, don't let your fear get the best of you.

IDK ......... but my guess is he'd like to be told by you.
Perhaps u could talk to him. Talk about how you've grown up together, but you're both more grown-up now.
Tell him you've liked him for years, and like him a lot now. Touch his hand.
See what he says.
