Your opinion on the defence of karmichael Hunt.?

Terrible.

I remember watching the Eels v Broncos match where he tried to put a big hit on Fuifui Moimoi. Who did he think he was kidding? It was like throwing a stone at a coal train. Hunt bounced off and just looked stupid. When was the last time you saw him pull down a line break with a tackle around the legs?

It's quite simple Karmichael! Can't run without legs!

He's not the best in defence but I think he's more solid than a lot of the other fullbacks getting around now. It's easy to criticize from your armchair but it's not easy to tackle two or three blokes running at you at a hundred miles and hour, especially with the level of athleticism in the game nowadays. Hunt played at 5/8 for a bit last year and he was a revelation in defence, some of those shoulder charges were just deadly.

And as far as his tackle on Fuifui goes, well it didn't look real good, but it saved a certain try. No-one else would have had the guts to do that and so no-one else would have even come close to stopping him.

His defence is so so,there are not many GOOD defensive fullbacks today,but allowed to attack Hunt Bowen and Slater can break your heart.Of the 3 i have named i would choose Billy Slater as the best defensive fullback.My opinion only

He has been playing HORRIBLE in defence for the past few weeks, but then again....look at Slater against the Dogs'.

Bowen cannot defend inside his own 10m line.

So Hunt isn't the only one to worry about.

Its better than some, especially Slater. Against the Dogs, his defence was non existant. I think they will persevere with Slater but Hunt or Bowen would be better.

have a look at Matt Bowen, he is nothing but a speed bump 10m from the line, Karmichael has put on some great saves in origin, aust, and club footy, that is why he keeps getting selected.

I don't think he is the worst ,but what he lacks in defence ,he makes up for in attack . William Zillman, very ordinary in defence .

i think he's not bad, remember when he was playing for queensland at 5/8, he was putting hits on and making great tackles, but in so far as club level, no i don't think he's particularly awesome.
