Yes. And then years later she called me and it was as if nothing happened. I was shocked to hear her voice, and there was a bit of uncomfortable silence, but we talked for hours on the phone. We didn't even talk about what it was that made us stop talking in the first place. We just kind of picked up on where we left off at. That's a true friendship. If you have someone in mind, I think you should give them a ring. You'd be surprised at how easy it is to resume a long lost friendship.
