I live in the UK and it says "Yahoo! Answers UK & Ireland" at the top of my page. Does that mean I only get...?
questions coming from the UK? Is there a way I can fix it so I can see questions from ALL parts of the world (at least, the ones that speak English)?

The default on the UK & Ireland site is "UK & Ireland Questions only". to change this setting you have to change it on the home page. At the bottom of the category list on the home page change the "Show" setting to "All English Questions".
It doesn't always stay at All English, you have to check when you leave the home page to a category, you may need to change it again. It should stay at All English for the rest of the session.

You can select your geographic range. There is a box about 2/3 way down the page. Click on the right hand side and choose your area.
Although the default is UK & Ireland Only the people in the USA don't seem to have the same filter system so loads of American questions appear.
Unfortunately there are also loads of American answers to questions about Law, electrical wiring and motoring which should only be answered by people in the UK. Their legal, wiring and motoring systems are so different that some of their suggestions could be lethal if tried here.

Where it says under Show UK & Ireland Questions Only, change it to All English Questions.
At the bottom of the page it lists all the countries together with their flags, that get Yahoo Answers. To go to a different countries Yahoo questions and answers, just click on that flag.

You have http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/ in your browser.
To get worldwide English questions, either delete the UK. bit from the address bar, or scroll down the page, on the left hand side there is a thing that says UK and Ireland questions only, click down on that, and select all English Questions from the List.
Hope I helped.

You will get all questions from the anglosphere, including USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. I personally think your home nation questions should come out on top.
But a question has a marker on the bottom specifying which nation it was posted from. There is also sometimes indication in the language - such as people in the UK using "mum" but those in the US using "mom". There are many indicators.

Huh? I am in Canada (am American) and there is nothing that states any UK only or for that matter any country only. Nothing at all and sometimes I find it hard to answer questions when I don't know the country the question is coming from.

Nope - we get ALL the English questions - which is why you'll see loads of references to the dollar, and american spellings on here !
Mine says UK & Ireland too !

You are always able to choose to show All English Questions.
In your Yahoo! Answers homepage or pages of any category where questions are listed, there is an option to SHOW either All English Questions or UK & IRELAND QUESTIONS ONLY.

Yes. At the bottom it says Answers International. Click on a country and you can answer questions from that country.
