help me understand my mood?
ok so i may be a typical teenager with mod swongs blah blah blah but recently i have had them more often and they vary...one min i could be messing around with mates and having a laugh the next minute i dont feel like talking and just watch from a distance. my boyfriend got really angry with me the other day saying he doesnt know whats wrong with me and asked why im always grumpy and dont join in with stuff. i told honestly that i really didnt know why i was like this and wish i could stop. ive been having trouble with friends and family members lately and put it down to stress or whatever but does anyone go through the same phase and how do i become a happier person?

If you are between the ages of 12 and 17 this is perfectly normal behaviour. Do not let anybody tell you you need counselling. Most of these people will just take your money.

I have this as well but I'm 19 it could very well be depression which is not always a reason for councilling because there are ways to deal with it by getting support from friends and family and getting more excercise, eating better more fresh fruit and veg etc It could also be the result of something bad happening in your life that can cause problems subconciously if your around the person thta caused you to be upset you will dislike being around them.
It could also be stress from school? exams? relationships? it can really wear you out make you feel tired, distressed can't be bothered with things....
If you really think it is more than just a teenage thing then i would advise seeking help from maybe a school teacher, nurse or your doctor.. maybe even discuss it with your family but when i was younger thats the last thing i would have wanted to do

i dont know. its normal for teenagers to get mood swings but these seem very uncontrollable and extreme. your boyfriend should support you if you are being honest with him. i do think its worth a trip to the doctors. you could have a hormone imbalance or a disorder like bi-polar

Its prolly just typical teen hormones kicking in making your mood fluxuate like so. Just try to realize it and dont take it out on anyone. Get some chillaxin time to yourself!

Happiness comes from within honey, its something you have to search for and try to find a balance. You might also be bi polar, have you asked your doctor about your mood swings?
