I have a computer question...has anyone else experienced this?

Every time I start a program on my computer I get this dialog box. For instance when I open up Mozilla Firefox and I get this message:

firefox.exe -- Bad Image

The application or DL C:/WINDOWS/system32/siyesohi.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

It all started when once when my computer froze and I rebooted. At startup I'll get a ton of the same message for different applications and I have to click "OK" through all of them until they finally stop and then I'll get one every time I open a program whether it's an internet browser or MS office or a game or whatever.

Does anybody know what this is and how I might go about stopping it?

I would install the Windows OS disk and run the repair utility on it to see if that clears up your problem. It sounds like you have an invalid file.

First thing you should do is run an online virus scan.If the computer has been infected your anti-virus should not be trusted. For online scans there is Panda Activescan, another one on the Symantec website and I believe F-Secure and AVG also offer free online scans. Also run a couple of good anti spy/ad/malware applications. Some good ones are Spybot Search and Destroy,Adaware (free version),plus you should also try Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. If you determine that your problems are not caused by an infection you may end up having to format and do a new clean install of your Operating System.
