What do know about chameleons?

apart from changing colours (to match mood and temperature, not background),

they also have two eyes that can move and see independently from each other,

a completely prehensile tail,

tongues upto twice the length of their bodies,

they are ectothermic,

they are mostly insectivorous (some may take small invertebrates or even fruit),

there are both arboreal and terrestrial species,

their tongues have a really strong sticky bulb at the end for capturing prey,

their tongues have a bone in them,

there are 158 species of chameleon and they are all diurnal...

They can change colors to match their surroundings as camouflage. Also, a certain species can shoot blood out of their eyes as a form of defense.
