Which team will Greg Ellis end up with?

The Cowboys are going to either trade or release veteran LB/DE Greg Ellis.

I think the Patriots, Browns, Dolphins, and Bengals may be interested.

Would you want him on your team? He has 77 career sacks ( 8 last year) and is 34 years old.

Update:

Actually, the Cowboys are getting rid of Ellis to open cap space for DeMarcus Ware's new contract(he's a free agent in 2010). You know the money the Redskins threw at Albert Haynesworth mean the Cowboys will have to give D-Ware just as much; if not more.

You can't help but think that the Patriots would snatch him up. I'm not sure if this is the smartest thing for Jerry to do. He has been a great player for the Boys over the years. Contract disputes and position changes aside, Ellis' experience and veteran presence on the team are valuable. He can also still produce on the field and I hope they can work something out. He is 34 and hopefully is smart enough to know he isn't going to get crazy money. But, then again, Jerry could be squeezing him trying to make up cap space due to the TO fiasco. Man, I hate Jerry.

Wade Phillips is a great coach, especially in terms of defense. Probably finds Greg Ellis not too valuable. Reports indicate that Greg will probably be cut as well.

Greg Ellis will be cut. Or the patriots make a late move. They're quiet, not quick too rush things, y'know, "the New England way".

Greg's sack could probably credit more towards Wade's schemes rather than the indication of pure skill.

I think Greg ellis will be a Patriot. They have shown the most interest and do well utilizing veterans late in their careers. I don't see a big trade considering how old Ellis is. I see more of a release than anything.

Thumbs up to those who agree.

I think the Browns would be out of those 4 you have mentioned because they need to get some threats on defense, I also believe that what else do they have to lose? If they go for someone like him, then they have a threat.

I can't say I'd need him on the Giants, because of our great defense, plus our roster is full, so we would have to release someone for him and since we already have a scary D-Line, I think we'd pass.

Dude, I've been trying to talk to you on the PBT, but since you finally asked a question, please add me dude. lol

It depends. I would take him if he is willing to take a decent amount of money.

No team will pay a 34 year old linebacker/defensive end millions of dollars.

    The Patriots.

They seem to snag up almost every veteran they can get their hands on. I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
