Pro Bowl snub for Dez Bryant?
Giants receiver Victor Cruz is in the Pro Bowl with 82 catches for 1,040 yards and 9 touchdowns.
Bryant is out with 88 catches for 1,311 yards and 12 touchdowns. I know Bryant has had some off-field issues, but to me, this is a joke. What are your thoughts?
10 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoIs This Conclusive Evidence? (Cowboys Dez Bryant non-TD?)?
Anybody that knows me on here hopefully knows I'm not one to whine about a loss. But I've seen touchdowns ruled on plays not as close as Dez Bryant. Here's a photo I just found:
10 AnswersFootball (American)9 years agoWhat Do The Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers Have In Common?
Neither team plays any games in January.
See, I can have some fun at my favorite team's expense.
6 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWould Your Favorite Team?
Give up 1st and 3rd round picks for Miles Austin? The Cowboys didn't put the franchise tag on him today. Of course, Jerry Jones would probably match any deal anyway.
16 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoCan Cowboys Fans Be Thankful For This?
It looks like Demarcus Ware is okay. Early word is he has a sprained neck and full movement in all his extremities.
Congrats to the Chargers, too.
5 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoBrandon Jacobs vs. Tony Romo?
Giants running back Brandon Jacobs took some shots at Tony Romo recently; saying "he's not that good of a passer".
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/07/09/ja...
Do you think this was a classless act? Will it give the Cowboys some added incentive this season?
Or does playing with Eli Manning make Jacobs an expert on such matters (lol)?
9 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWhich Rookie NFL Head Coach Can Carry On this Legacy?
An article in the Cowboys' team magazine inspired this question. Every ten years in recent NFL history a great coach has been hired at the end of a decade:
1959- Packers hire Vince Lombardi
1969- Steelers hire Chuck Noll
1979- 49ers hire Bill Walsh
1989- Cowboys hire Jimmy Johnson
1999- Patriots hire Bill Belicheck (Jan. 2000, but close enough)
Which 2009 hire, if any, can follow in these footsteps? Thanks for all opinions.
7 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoIs My CD Burning Drive Broken?
My CD-R/RW drive can no longer write files to any CD. However, it can still read and erase them.
No matter if I use a brand new, used, blank, or partially full disc; it gives me a message "There was an error in the writing process. The disc you are using may no longer be usable".
I have checked everything-my device manager, drivers; etc. and everything is fine.
If this helps; I'm running Windows XP. My PC and drive is 6 years old. I've burned many CD's. So is my drive worn out; or is there a fix I am missing?
Thanks to anybody who can help.
2 AnswersAdd-ons1 decade agoWhich team will Greg Ellis end up with?
The Cowboys are going to either trade or release veteran LB/DE Greg Ellis.
I think the Patriots, Browns, Dolphins, and Bengals may be interested.
Would you want him on your team? He has 77 career sacks ( 8 last year) and is 34 years old.
7 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoCowboys Agree To A Deal With?
Former Falcons linebacker Keith Brooking for three years.
So they picked up an aging, former Pro Bowl linebacker; just not Ray Lewis.
Cowboys fans (and haters), is this a good move? I'm thinking this is just Zach Thomas all over again.
12 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWhat is This Possible Threat?
When I use Yahoo Search, I get a message on the bottom of the screen saying "waiting for zfsearch.com".
When I use Google, it gives an IP address of 85.17.138.49....
I just scanned my whole computer with Malwarebytes' Antimalware and nothing was found.
3 AnswersSecurity1 decade agoA quick question about the Yahoo Answers glitch?
Just to stop my inbox from getting flooded, I want to mark the duplicate best answers e-mails as spam until the problem is fixed.
My question is, how can I make the e-mails "not spam" when I want to receive them again? I'm not too familiar with how to do that.
4 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoSerious Question About Giants-Cowboys?
I know the Giants have won the NFC East. But let's say, hypothetically, they lose out and the Cowboys win out.
This means:
-Both teams are 11-5
-The teams split with each other
-Both are 4-2 in the NFC East
-Both are 8-4 against the NFC
-Both are 3-1 against the AFC
So how is it already determined the Giants have won the division? Wouldn't it come down to other tiebreakers (like points scored) that are impossible to predict now?
11 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoDo You Think That The NFL Should Change The Playoff Format?
Think about this: the Cardinals can win the NFC West at 7-9 as long as the 49ers lose one more game and make the playoffs.
But it is also possible the Cowboys can go 10-6 and miss the playoffs because the Giants have just about wrapped up the division.
Is this fair? The teams with the best six records should qualify. Never mind automatically sending the four division winners in.
10 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoThis has been asked before, but?
Who do you think will win first, the Lions or the Bengals? I want to see what you guys (and ladies) here think.
7 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWill the Cowboys' Loss to The Rams?
Cause a shakeup in the Cowboys' coaching staff? OK, I know a lot of you out there hate the Cowboys, I understand that. But even with the injuries Dallas has, losing THIS BAD to the Rams is embarrassing. I would have felt better if the game was at least competitive.
12 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoShould the Cowboys Fire Their Special Teams Coach?
Bruce Read, the Cowboys' special teams coach, has to go. A 93 yard kickoff return TD allowed today; and kick coverage has been a season long problem. Then a blocked punt in overtime. Take away these miscues and Dallas wins easily!
6 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoMy CD-RW Drive is Driving Me Crazy!!!!!!?
I asked this question before, but my problem is still unsolved. My CD-RW drive opens itself. At random. Sometimes when I first turn the computer on. Sometimes when I'm on the internet. And sometimes not at all. I have run every spyware and antivirus check I can find. And the computer is "clean".
Is it possible it is just wearing out; as I've used it frequently over the past few years? Is there a way I can disable it when not using it to prevent this annoying problem? ANY help is greatly appreciated!!
4 AnswersAdd-ons1 decade agoIs this a spyware threat?
I have heard of malware called "ad.yieldmanager.com". But lately, many of the ads displayed on Yahoo Answers come from "ad.yieldmanager.com". They are not pop-ups; they are just the ads displayed on the page.
Is this spyware? I should add that I have had no other problems like a hijacked home page, or being redirected to other sites, etc.. And I've run just about every anti-virus and anti-spyware scan there is and they find nothing. Thanks!
4 AnswersSecurity1 decade agoMy CD-RW Drive Opens Itself Frequently....?
I had a virus/trojan problem last winter but the PC is now clean. I have used the drive often, but as far as I know it is still in working order. So what is causing it to open itself? Is it just plain wearing out? Or is my anti-virus and spyware possibly missing something?
Thank you in advance!
