5th year anniversary coming up vacation ideas?

December is our 5th wedding anniversary and we're thinking about taking a 2nd honeymoon since our 1st one wasnt that great it rained a lot and i got foot poisoning :/ anyways we're young he'll be 26 and I'll be 23 at the time we're thinking about waiting until June or July of 2010 to go since I'm still in school and I also work at a school so it's when I can get time off so any ideas on where to go where to stay what to do? we're both very adventerous and are open for any and all suggestions we don't really have a budget right now, but also can't afford to spend like $25k either. we're thinking about a week or week in a half somewhere we've never been as a couple. we live in california so we've done reno, southern cali and vegas many times already. so where have you gone and loved it? where to stay? or good websites to look for packages thanks in advance for any ideas!

You guys should go camping! My family and I go to this place in Cherokee called the KOA every summer and love it. It doesn't cost that much and it would be so romantic if you and your partner went together. No cell phones no computers just the two of you finding new and fun things to get into. If sleeping outside is not your thing they do have places for an RV and if that doesn't tickle your fancy either they have cabins!!

Good luck, I hope that this HM is better than the first.

There is a great floating seafood restaurant called Lorenzilla's on the lagoon in Cancun. Absolutely beautiful at Sunset. Have the front desk of your hotel call and explain that you are going to propose (a little special attention from the host is always good!) Make sure you have turn down service as well as a nice champagne and fresh local fruit waiting back at your hotel room. If you have not booked a honeymoon suite a nice touch would be to check availability and if you can afford the upgrade have the front desk arrange moving your suitcases from your regular room to the suite while you are at dinner so upon arriving back she'll have the surprise of a ocean front suite! Congrats and good luck!

Sedona and or The Grand Canyon

If you like hiking, horse back riding and outdoor adventures there is lots to do in Northern Arizona. There are lots of inexpensive motels, you can mix that up with a night of sleeping cuddled up in a sleeping bag under the stars, its very romantic. You could go on a road trip and stop at places that seem interesting. The painted desert and petrified forest is a nice drive.

Also Phoenix is great in December, Tempe is fun lots of nightlife and outdoor adventures too.

Have fun and Congrats on your 5th anniversary.

    Hello,

I would suggest a circuit in French Polynesia that would include Tahiti, Bora Bora and Moorea !

    Happy Anniversary !
