When did at&t drop Usenet Newsgroups?
I must have missed the memo. The only newsgroup available is Microsoft communities.

When they realized it was only people using the alt.binaries groups still using Usenet. Most providers have done so these days. Get a giganews account. More newsgroups available than anyone around (most ISP's aggregated their Usenet feeds from giganews in the first place).
If you're looking for actual newsgroups (not binaries), I think Google still has some available, as do a few other sites.
