How much would 4 average lamb shoulder blade chops weigh?
They're on sale at the store for $3.99 a pound. I'm trying to estimate how much that would cost for 4 servings. Does anybody serve them enough to know how much that would weigh?

If they are round bone that is a fair price. Depending on how thick they are cut 4 chops should weigh around 2 pounds.
If they are blade bone chops there is more bone, so the price is a little high and you will get less meat on each chop. Hope this helps.

That would be 4 large chops, about 1kg = 2.2lb to kilo.kg. Would cost about $10. I'm Aussie so we love our lamb. BBQ, grill/broil, stew or braise. serve with veggies or salad. enjoy.
