If you won 7 out of 13 tennis games, what's the probability of winning the next game?

Given nothing to go on but the 13 games, the odds would be 7 to 6.

If there are only two options: win or lose then the probability is 1 out 2. If you count "tie" then it is 1 out of 3. The 7/13 number is meant to distract you because that is not enough info to help predict your "ranking". You would need to know who you're playing next, how many games they have won, etc. to predict based on your skill because you would need to know their skill as well.

Also 7/13 is ALMOST 1/2 anyway so it's not like Pete Samprass vs. the 3rd grade class.

EDIT: Please do not listen to the first poster as they are DEAD wrong. A 7/6 chance could NEVER be an answer to ANY probability question much less this one. How can you win 7 out of 6 times? You can't- the most you could win would be 6 out of 6 times and in probability few things are 100% like that.
