Get out of Vegas. Rent a car and drive over to see Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. Very interesting. Get up earlier and head off in the other direction on another day to Death Valley...also very interesting.
These are suggestions for if you like these sorts of natural and engineering marvels, and want a break from the lights and glitz of Las Vegas. Hoover Dam will take 3/4's of a day and to get to Death Valley, have time to look around, and get back, will take a very full day.

It will still be pretty warm. You can hang out at the hotels..i mean there is so much going on up and down the strip. There are tons of shows, about 5 cirque du soliels, casinos, and just sights to see. I lived there for a year and was never bored.

Well you don't want to go there October 22–24, because AARP is having their convention there then. It is going to be full of older people.

America's Playground! You can get married, get drunk, win, and lose your money all in a half a day! There is too much to do in Vegas that you can never see it all!
