I'm looking at buying a Honda Civic or a Honda Fit!?
Which one should I choose and why?
Thanks!

The Fit is a bit sportier in the base model, both have "sportier" models. Civic tends to have a more refined ride. Fit is "5-door" hatchback only, Civic is sedan only (though you can get a coupe). If you are going to use it for anything other than commuting from point A to point B, then the Fit has a far more versatile interior. If you are interested in hybrid or NG engine, then Civic is your only choice.
Pretty subjective stuff. We have a Fit Sport and love it. It gets stunning MPG, and is a surprisingly comfortable carpool vehicle, but it isn't perfect: the brakes are overly sensitive (we've had it 3 months and I still have a hard time gently braking), and I do wish it had slightly softer suspension (maybe the non-sport model does).

Most of the car magazines love the Honda Fit and we all know the Civic is a great car. I'd take the Fit over the Civic for the hatchback usefulness, but in performance terms, the Civic would win, especially the Civic Si coupe. The Tc isn't bad and comes well equipped, so it's worth a look. I'd stay away from Yaris. Could be fun, but not nearly as much as the other cars listed. Yaris was designed for fuel economy only. Although at 2200 lbs, with a stick shift, it could be a fun thing to commute in. It's more fun to drive a slow car fast then a fast car slow. But driving a fast car fast is a blast! Have fun, stick to the Civic or Fit and the Tc

It depends on your needs, and your budget. Both are excellent choices, but the Fit will be somewhat smaller, and is a little bit cheaper. It is more of a budget car, while the Civic has many different trim lines, and is a little more upscale. You can't go wrong with either, though. I personally like the looks of the Civic better, so that would be the difference for me.

Civic its got a good rep. for being a well built quality car that gets good gas mileage. The Fit is small and its newer which is good but the civic i think is better because its been around longer and people still love them =)..Ive got an accord right now but a civic will for sure be my next car =)
