ANYONE KNOW ABOUT JEWELRY? PLEASE READ!!?

This is a link to an item I just bought on ebay. Please check out the pics and tell me if you think it's worthwhile. I mean I paid less than $20 for the items and shipping...but are these stones any good?

I like how they look (I have them sitting on my desk at this very moment) and I want them removed and put in a new setting... but the cloudiness is real, not just in the pic. Is this removable? Are they worth re-setting?

Thank you!!!!

I very much doubt that these are real black opal stones. They might be triplets or doublet, but from their look I would think they are synthetic.

Any jeweler will be able to tell you straight away. Are the backs of the earrings open, to see the back of the stones? That way you could see if they are solid stones or not.

Anyway, I doubt they are worth re-setting.

It is hard to tell from a picture, but I doubt that they are real stones. A good black opal is a lot more expensive. Maybe they are not really good quality?

They look very pretty. For that price you have something very nice.. If you take them to have them reset, the jeweler can tell you if they are worth it.
