first prom, and im really nervous what do i do?

If you know they are going to be drinking, make sure you have a cell phone and extra money. That way when they are too drunk to drive or get arrested you will still have the ability to get home.

If you are nervous about the friends and the drinking, tell someone who you can trust (a sibling, an aunt or uncle, neighbor..anyone) what's up and ask about calling them if you need help. You should also take enough money for a cab or the bus (always let someone know where you are at all times) to get home or somewhere safe if you need to. You do not need to drink to have a good time and knowing that others will gives you time to prepare yourself and set up other activities and other friends to hang out with too. Can you ask a friend to go with you? Whatever you decide, make sure you do not ride with someone who has been drinking. This literally equals death and/or permanent injury to yourself or others.

Prom is fun....it's the last hoorah before starting a new chapter in your life. Don't let this get you down, let it serve you as a prep for your up coming partying years.....this will happen again and when it does you will be prepared :)

I didnt drink in high school and didnt a lot throughout college. If you dont want to drink you dont have to. Just tell them that you dont want to. What i would do sometimes is fill up a solo cup or whatever they are drinking out of with water, so people didnt really question. And if they make some comment, just say you are the Designated Driver (DD) or that you just dont want to drink tonight. People shouldnt force it on you! Dont do something you arent comfortable with just because other people are! You'll be just fine. Just be confident in your choice! Have a great time at prom and i hope it goes well!

If you feel uncomfortable going to the prom with your boyfriend and his friends, just tell him how you feel. If he really cares about you, he will not make you be in a situation that you feel like you are uncomfortable or in danger. Tell him what you think about him drinking and tell him he has to change or he has to go if it gets to the point that he puts you in risky situations. And if you love him, you can tell him what bad habits have to go, in thins case drinking.

You will be ok. Have a back up plan! Call someone to come and pick you up when you want leave. Prom is not as big of deal as it is made out to be. I was actually BORED at my prom :)

what ever you do don't stop them from drinking or don't tell them not to drink that much or any more b/c they had enough...b/c it could turn ugly....if you know what i mean....just have fun with them and if you sea that things really go under hand just bail...or avoid them

Have you told your boyfriend how you feel?

I'm not suggesting that you try and tell him what to do, but share with him that your anxious and ask him to keep that fact in mind.

It's your prom too...go and have fun.

act normal and civilized dont do nething you'll regret doing and avoid negative things like drinking and stuff like that.

nothing is really going to happen, if they get drunk they will just be a little bit more "wilder", but that's just it.

I doubt they will start going on a gangbang or something

just be yourself dont drink alcohol so u can set an example just be yourself and u betta luk gud
