Do you speak Newspeak? (1984 language)?

How would you translate this sentence to Newspeak?

They ran through the open forest, prancing with joy, as they looked for delicious candies and treats hidden within the bushes.

Ha, it's a very "mellow" sentence but it's just a way for me to get mroe familiar with Newspeak because I was to write a paper on 1984 in Newspeak, so even if you can't translate the whole sentence, attempt at it and maybe even give me suggestions on common words Newspeak language would use in everyday conversations. Thank you

Just remember, Newspeak is utilitarian and restrictive: minimal adjectives, restricted use of adverbs. Also, Newspeak is not supposed to reveal overly negative or overly positive ideas, so focus on the connotations of words and try to alter them as necessary.

Your sentence might go something like this in Newspeak:

They walked speedwise through the unclosed forest looking for plusgood chocorats unfound in the bushes.

I doubt it, not everyone uses polically correct language, but everyone was trained form birth to use newspeak.... So it isn't really the same, I agree that it is HEADING that way, but right now, in my own home, I can be as politically incorrect as I want, at least we don't have monitors, so it may be a precursor, but it is definitely not as strictly controlled as newspeak.

well I remember one thing the language guy was trying to do...they were getting rid of words like good, better and best...and replacing it with one word that could be added to...for ex.:

good, doublegood, triplegood (or something like that)

"...as they looked for delicious candies..." --> "...as they looked for doublegood candies..."

    --------------------------------------------------

In your paper here are some other key words/phrases to throw in perhaps: thoughtcrime, 2 minute hate, goodthinkful, facecrime...
