Computer Guys Help please, what is Trace Registry viewpoint media tool bar? Scans pick it up after I delete.?

It shows up when I run A2, scan. I have searched and searched and never found a firm answer. Is it dangerous? If so, how do I get completely rid of it. Is A2 a spy itself? It always says "A2". A2 is the only program that I have found that will detect a trojan horse. Any any better? Thanks.

That is an optional toolbar that can be downloaded with Viewpoint Media....you can delete the toolbar by going to start...click on search....then click on all files and folders..and use Viewpoint Media tool bar as the search item...should bring up maybe 1 or 2 folders..you can delete each one...also click on tool and go down to the option of toolbar and if it is there also..just un-checkmark it......

    okay do as i say.

    1. download and install superantispyware and malwarebytes.

    2. turn off system restore.

    3. go into safe mode.

    4. do a full system scan with each.

    5. quarantine any threats found and you should be good to go.

    sites: http://malwarebytes.org/

    http://superantispyware.com/

once your done with this. get rid off whatever a2 is and any antivirus product you have. instead download avira alongside threatfire.

First responce was very good, I would also advise a safe mode or command line TUI to get rid of it.

No A-Squared is not a spy program.
