Leg shaving tips?!?!?

I need some shaving tips. I use a Gillette Venus for women as a razor and Skintimate shaving cream. Thanks so much ahead of time!

Shave at the end of the shower or bath, this allows the water to soften the hairs.

Change the blade every 5 shaves or more often.

If it has been a long while, and the hair is long go over the leg with a beard trimmer set to 0 before shaving in the shower.

Apply gel/cream to one leg ankle to knee. Shave in long strokes in an upward motion. Do not shave over one area more than 3 times. Repeat on the other leg. If you are not very hairy you may not need to shave above the knee.

Apply lotion to the legs as soon as you get out of the shower. Do not go swimming for a couple hours, the chrlorine can irritate newly shaved skin.

If you shave in the shower, start shaving after several minutes of being in the shower. This will eliminate more of the hair because your pores will open. Don't start shaving after you've been in the shower for quite awhile, because all of the water makes your skin swell a little so you will remove less of the hair.

Shave in the direction the hair grows to avoid ingrown hairs and little bumps and things.

Hope this helps a little! :)

shaving encourages regrowth. Remove with depilitory patches and keep at it and eventually the hair will give up.
