Isn't this another example of Obama.....?

being a hypocrite and calling for the old liberal double standard? He said senators should work quickly to elevate the federal appeals judge. With the Senate returning this coming week from its holiday break, Obama said he hopes it begins the confirmation process without delay.Yet, As a senator, Obama supported a failed attempt by Democrats to stall President George W. Bush's nomination of Samuel Alito to the high court? Typical liberal hypocracy? Yes or No?

Sadly yes. It seems the majority of Obama's appointees are hypocrites, ones whose motto is do as I say not as I do. Think taxes. Sotomayor is just another one of these people. I don't know if she has paid her taxes, but she is on record for being openly biased. She is openly biased which is reflected in her statements and in her rulings. She is an out spoken member of La Raza (radical left group for illegal immigration). She has ruled against white males and 1 hispanic male on the Connecticut Firefighters Reverse Discrimination Case. BTW, about 50%-60% of her rulings have been overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court.

She also likes to paint her history of one that has been oppressed when she lived in a middle class neighborhood growing up. She only lived in the Bronx for a very short period. She went to PRIVATE EXPENSIVE primary and secondary schools and the same on her way to colleges. I don't know if she benefited from AA, good if she did (and she needs to give credit where credit is due) but if we had access and transparency to all her records, we would probably find some aspect of her getting special privileges because of her ethnicity. Same as Obama. Now both these people talk about how bad they had it, and how they know best because of their "experience."

Before anyone starts calling me right-wing nut or whatever.... I am mixed race with a good part being Native American. I don't advertise this so I can get special entitlements. My family actually worked hard all of their life and never took any assistance. One time, we even lived in a barn when I was growing up. I didn't think we had a bad life. I thought it was pretty good. We grew our own vegetables, ate a lot of rice and beans, beans and rice. Sometimes went to the dump to see what furniture (wood) was thrown out that could be reused. I went to public schools, made honor roles, graduated with honors, went to colleges and universities. All on my own and the help of my parents. I have 3 degrees now, one being a RN.

BTW, I am an independent. I am so tired of these so called politicians playing there gang games and ignoring the Constitution and apologizing for America. The United States of America is the greatest nation of the world, we are the most generous, the most giving, and for the most of us law abiding, not wanting to legislate from the bench, make our own laws, or change the Constitution. We want to do right and keep Justice Blind and especially color blind.

I don't see the hypocrisy. Obama is calling for the Senate to confirm his appointment. The Senate is mostly Democrats, and he wants his party to get the party started.

Regarding Alito, Obama, also a Democrat, followed what the Democrats in the Senate were trying to do.

    Where's the hypocrisy?

No, its another example of Republicans making more out of something than it deserves just so they can bash the Democrat in charge like a whiny child.

    You lost. Get over it.

It's just a battle within the ruling class. We won't have anyone who is not a hypocrite until we have a candidate that calls 9-11 the government conspiracy that it obviously was. 9-11 is the litmus test.

    9/11 is the Litmus Test.

There is one thing that defines everyone over the course of these early years of this new century. That thing is the 9/11 attack. Everyone in government and every field of endeavor the world over is defined by their position on this event. It is not necessary to know the truth. It is only necessary to know the extent of the lies in order to define any leader in any position anywhere in the world. By what they have said and by what they have not said, one can accurately judge who is an enemy of the people’s of the world. One can accurately determine who is a tool of the psychopaths or one of them.

It seems like the Republicans still can't get over their defeat. No one in their right mind will vote for a penquin and a nympho.

The republicans should vote quickly. But they don't know what to do. Vote for her? No. Vote against her and risk losing the women's vote and the Spanish vote in 2010? What to do. Is Barry a genius?
