Would you ever hog-tie a sheep for transport?

I just had some people come to buy my sheep and they wanted to hog-tie them and lay them down in the back of a mini-van that was probably 90 degrees inside (it's really hot here, and there were no windows rolled down on the van). Of course I freaked out, and basically threatened that if they hog-tied the sheep, they'd be getting their money back. There was no way I would let them hog-tie them and lay them down for an hour ride in a hot, stuffy van. That's inhumane...especially when it's super hot out.

So would you ever hog-tie any animal for transport?

Update:

Thanks for your feedback, guys. I forgot to add that the people did buy them. My mom and her stupid boyfriend would not let me take them back. :( I really did not want to sell them to those people. My mom and her boyfriend don't even own them, the papers were in my name.

NO WAY IN HELL. And I would NEVER sell ANY animal to idiots like that. They just proved that they're abusive.
