How does relegation work in baseball?
I am a Brit, but enjoy baseball on MLBTV. Today I was watching the Washington Nationals and they seem like a good candidate for relegation. While their strikers are good, their goalies and defence is horrible. When a team is relegated, which league do they go to?
Another thing I like about Baseball is how they fit the announcers names to what they do on TV? For instance Carpenter of Wash sounds like a carpenter in real life, driving in the same point (nail) all the time. and the other announcer Dribble seems to be somebody who if you invited to dinner would dribble all over his food.

Major League Baseball does not use relegation.
"Strikers" and "goalies" are not common terms in baseball.
Strikers == batters.
Goalies == well, I'm not sure. Catchers? Pitchers?
The Nationals are, indeed, a very bad team this season.

Probably a good idea but it will never happen. Baseball people, including me, do not like changes. Get rid of DH, Astroturf, Inter league play. Vincent (Vin) Scully is the best announcer in baseball, now or ever. What does his name to do with anything?
