It is definitely their fault. They obviously have no clue what the definition of yield is. If there was a car coming, they should not have made the turn, regardless of your speed. They were not paying attention, because even if you were speeding they should have been able to see that they would not have made it in time.
Best of luck!

It would be there fault if what you said happen they should of yielded to on coming traffic which they didn't.You will need to go to the police station/ highway patrol office to get a copy of the accident report, they may charge a fee.The police may not talk to you because they already know the other party was at fault and it doesn't matter who was driving the key word hear is the YIELD SIGN
Call your Insurance company and let them know

Their defense is BS. If the left turn signal is a green circle, or if there is no separate left turn signal, then traffic in the opposite direction is not stopped. This is known as permissive mode in US highway traffic engineering terminology since vehicles turning left have to wait until a break in the flow of traffic in the opposite direction permits them to turn. They should have only turned if there was NO traffic coming towards them!

You were not at fault. But you do not get a vote. Your insurance company will decide who is at fault. And, if the witneses lie for their friend, don't worry. Insurance companies do not listen to relatives or friends. They really only listen to independent witnesses.
Work with your claim rep. They know the rules. If your not at fault your claim rep will fight for you. Hope you have good insurance. Call your claim rep with any questions.

Ohmyword are you okay? Now a days teens get away with to much. when they get in touble they they try to find a way out. Its was there fault. Im a teen but im not rude cuz i got taught better then that

From the way you say it its there fault, and it probably is but with stuff like this you need an eyewitness to tell you exactly how it happened, and im not saying your lying but the court would listen to a eyewitness rather than you

They are at fault. You may have to take them to Small Claims Court. Do you have a police report?

It doesnt matter about speed. The issue is that you had the right away and they had to yield. That is their fault and their case would crash in court but it sucks that you didnt have the police there to give your story.

A WEAK case ! Without a witness to verify your story, it's pretty much your word against theirs. Depending on the judge, you MIGHT prevail !

it is not your fault
you do have a case
you would need to sue the parents of the kid driving or the owner of the car if you cant find out who that was
