HELP PLZ COMPUTER PROBLEMS?
okay i am trying to download something on my computer it downloads it but when its time to install the software it doesn't le me it say[the window installer could not be accessed. this can occur if the windows installer is not correctly installed.. what does that mean?? and how can i fix this problem???? plz help

It's a problem with Windows Installer Service not starting. It does happen and sometimes it's very hard to fix, but you can start it manually before an installation of a program. This is what you do:
Before installing a program, go to Control Panel, then Administrative Tools and then click on Services. In the window that opens, go almost to the end of the list and find Windows Installer. Highlight it and click on the word Start , which is on the left and a little up.
The service will start. Close the window and NOW do your installation of whatever you are trying to install.

This sounds like a serious case of registry damage. There is a way to manually recover the system using older copies of the registry backed up using System Restore (provided it was turned on!).
