Torrent client and Download speed?

u torrent is the best. i have used limewire in the past but it is rubbish compared to u torrent. I have downloaded even 25 gb files with it and it works fine. download speed really depends on many factors like your internet speed, no. of trackers and no. of seeders. if the software is designed properly to use the torrent technology then it does not have any impact on download speed. Overall u torrent looks good to me.

1st...speeds all depend on the seed vs leech ratio not the client...the more seeds the better...also it has to do with your internet connection. go to speedtest.net and do a test...from there divide that by 8 and there is your max download that is possible...now you have to add in the seed vs leech ratio.

2nd. yes you can. when i first started i switched between utorrent, bittorrent, and vuze. You just got to point the torrent client to the file and it will scan and then continue the download Bittorrent 6.1.2 is what i use now. just be patient and the torrent will finish

Also uTorrent and BitTorrent are virtually the same client..don't switch cause people tell you to

I would suggest you to Switch to u Torrent which is best among the all .

coming to second one it will not work if your download another client you have to stick with the old to resume from 15$ u can add more Tracker to it.

ANY torrent client can download at ANY speed available. It's the upload speed of the seeder, not any download limitation in your client, that determines your download speed.

If you change clients, probably not - you'd have to start the download again. But it won't get faster. (Just make sure that you're seeding - not seeding cuts your download speed.)

I definitely do NOT recommend vuze. I used to use it, but it's big and bloated.

I use uTorrent on windows, and Transmission on Linux.
