What is wrong with this person?

Update:

What should his punishment be?

Update 2:

Hopefully this will be just an isolated incident or this guy gives a reason for what he did.

My punishment is we send him out to Iraq or Afghanistan by himself.

Update 3:

That is true but he would still get tortured for awhile unlike here. Now taxpayers will pay his way while he rots in jail. Hopefully he will get a lonely male named Bubba who just got out of isolation.

He should be hog tied and dropped into the middle of Fort Bragg, North Carolina... home of the 3rd Special Forces Group so he can receive punishment.

What is screwed up about it is that he doesn't even seem to have a motive for what he did. It is almost like he was just bored.

It seems that many people forget what the servicemembers of this country are all about. I'm sure most people have seen it, but take a look at the article below. It frankly just makes me sick.

Edit: Normally I would agree with your punishment, but with the way many of those people are over there, they would welcome him like a hero.

  • Unfortunately, taxpayers are going to pay for him to get a free ride now for the rest of his miserable life. But if it were up to me, I'd like to see him have a long and miserable death. Killing him quickly is too easy and too kind. Instead, let him spend time with ALL branches of our Armed Forces, where they will certainly teach him a lesson he will never forget.

I read this earlier. Shocking, and upsetting. I don't know what his punishment should be, but I wouldn't consider leniency at all. There is no mitigating factor to justify his action.

Something along the lines of throwing him into a crowd of all the branches who have just been told what he's done.

    That'd be graphic.
