Is lilac a nice color for a wedding?

lilac is a very pretty color for a spring wedding. I am getting married next spring and my wedding colors are periwinkle blue, silver, and white. I had a hard time choosing the color theme but am glad to have finally decided on these three colors. A color that would look nice next to lilac would be a creamy champagne. Those two colors will look elegant together. If you want for wedding to look a bit more fun you can choose a brighter color but that can overpower the lilac color. Good luck and Congrats.

I think lilac would be beautiful for a spring wedding! And you there are a lot of different flowers you could use in that colour, so you have a lot of choice!

I personally think that doing lilac with another (darker) shade of purple is a really cool looking combination (especially with bouqets in the different shades together!).

A few weeks ago someone was asking a similar question about a lilac colout scheme, and someone suggested lilac and GOLD. I thought that was such a FANTASTIC idea I wish I could change my colour scheme to that now because it would look so pretty!

I don't think so, no. I'm using lilac in my wedding (this June). We're doing lilac, white, with little touches of other purples here and there. I think lilac and cream would be nice as well. I don't think any color is childish. If done right, any color can look very elegant.

Lilac is a great spring color. You could add a lot of different colors, I think white (or off-white, depending on your dress) and a light green would look nice.

If it's a color you like absolutely. I personally hate purple or any version, but lilac would be a nice spring color if you like it. A light green is always very spring-ish, but if your heart is set on lilac, definitely

I think lilac is a perfect colour for a spring weather!! I personally like it with white or a very light silver accent....I think it should go well with one another....especially if you find the right shade of silver!!!!!

For our summer wedding we had lilac, pink, yellow, and light teal. - Yup, lots of colours, very pretty and fun to work with!

thats a really nice colour and you should have it in a pastely couldour with lilac flowers as well as pastel pinks and bles and just general pastel colours. i want a pastel coloured wedding...
