Where are there adults on Yahoo Answers?
I have nothing against teens, tweens, or college kids but Yahoo Answers seems overrun with them in most of the question categories. I would love to know where I can have an adult respond to my question so I don't have to sift through junior high sob stories and fart jokes. Any suggestions?

28 year old Right here.
You get that. Kinda funny some of the stuff on here though but I agree too many of the - I like this boy/girl but dont know how to talk to him blah blah blah... Get off the computer and experience life for yourself and you wont have to ask others how to do it.

Why would you wish to exclude the young from receiving answers from more experianced members? This seems selfish to me. I do not mean to offend, I am honestly curious why you would wish such a section. I enjoy interacting with people of all ages. I think the youth here bring something valuable to the table. Their take on the world as they view it. It is possible for the young to teach the older generation. They are valuable and viable members of society. Plus, they are the leaders of our future so why limit what contact they have with such a large community of adults? That would not benefit any of us. I just don't understand where your mind is on this, what you think it would accomplish. Perhaps if you added more of your thought process on why you think this would be benefitial to the community we could see what it is you are tryiing to accomplish. I honestly believe a seperate section for "adults only" is a form of age discrimination. I also do not believe any would benefit from this, and we, as a community, would be harmed doing such a thing. This would create great harm, more than I can enumerate here. One is the devaluation of our youth. They would feel we adults do not value them or their thoughts, ideas, and beliefs. We would also be denying them the wisdom adults gain through living life. These are only two of the detrimental affects I see from having an "adlut only" section. Our youth need to consider the adult world as they are entering it very soon. It is a positive step in aiding them to see how adults think, feel, and view issues. This allows them to begiin processing more mature views, to develope and grow. It gets them thinking and isn't this a positive benefit for them? I think it is important and valuable. I am going to have to agree to disagree with you on this one. Oh, just so you know, I am forty three. I wish you a good day.

It seems like it is overrun by the younger people. Wish there were something that the "older' ones could get some real answers to. I don't care for answers from people when my question specifically states for 'older' people. Btw, we're not "old", we're wiser... And then some.

I'm an adult ( to some a senior citizen), simply ask your question and put "adults over 25 please". I like a variety because sometimes an older person can give a teen a new way to look at a problem.

Here are some fart jokes, so you dont have to look for them.
Q: What's the definition of surprise?
A: A fart with a lump in it.
Q: Why did the fart cross the road?
A: It was stuck in the chicken's pants.
Q: What is a fart?
A: A turd honking for clearance.

Try the senior section, and as you find someone with an adult answer put them in your fan section so that you can ask other questions knowing that they are someone with experience and they don't have their head firmly inserted in their behind.

This is a place where I come and shut down my mind. Fart jokes... no problem. If you want a serious conversation you could always grab a coffee with your ex-husband...ex-boyfriend... ex- lover.. whatever.

Teens and college kids making fart jokes? Sorry but that's something 9-year-olds do... This site is aimed towards teens, so I suggest going somewhere else :-/
