Why do I find a lot of yahoo scientific type articles seem to discover alot of common sense stuff we all already knew for decades? Why do they act like they never realized this stuff before? Can you think of some examples you've also seen?

Usually these studies are much more in depth requiring many hours of research and particular independent and dependent variables. These article titles are simplified English for the masses.
