From what you're saying it sounds like he may like you.. but I don't know that I'd say anything just yet. Maybe see if you can hang out outside of class now, in a neutral setting? If he says he'll "always" be there for you then why rush things.. let it build on a foundation of friendship then it will be even better if you do end up getting together. And if you don't then at least you will come out of this with a good friend. Best of luck

the other way is too risky but here's how

1. ask a friend (preferably boy) to help you (one you can really trust) and have a coverstaion with Rob (but make sure you're not listening to this, ask you're friend later for the FULL details),

2.have your friend to ask Rob if Rob likes you if Rob didn't answer tell your friend to say "If you don't answer i will tell (your name) that you don't like her and never will"

3. that way Rob will be forced to say he likes you (that's the good news your friend should say about their conversation)

4. but bad thing is he might still not answer or answer he doesn't like you even if it's not true

5. if that's the case you really tell him what you feel

don't be sad if he just wanna be best friends with you there's always gonna be other guys that you'll love

I'd say go for it, even if your not comfortable. The man doesn't always have to make the first move, some times a person would be more excepting to it. Maybe he is trying to get with you, but is also scared. All you can do is try. Don't wuss out and make excuses though.

Just take a chance...You'll never know unless you try. :) I've been there, I took a chance, told the guy, and guess what? he liked me back!

Don't be like those people who were made for each other, and never had the chance to be together because they were too afraid to tell the other person.

from a guys perspective yes he does, but he is too shy to come out and ask you out. the best thing for you to do is invite him to go see a movie with you and your other friends and then later that week if he doesnt make a move invite him to do something with just you. if all else fails just go for the kiss.
