How to delete "users" on a shared computer?
I have a Dell computer.
Windows XP
and my kids were using it and I got several viruses.
So we bought the kids their own, and now I want to "delete" a user,
and create a password so they don't use my computer.
I created a "new user" and made myself "administrator."
I did that before as well (without realizing it).
Can I delete the other account and pool the information between the two?
HOW CONFUSING - I really hope someone knows what I mean??

Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts (Yes, again) > (THEN Click the kids user names that they used) > Delete the account
Hope that helped? :)

If you go to the Control Panel, then User Accounts you should be able to select any account on the computer and the last option in the list will be to delete the account, click it, follow prompts and the account is gone.
