Knowledge doesn't determine IQ. You could be getting honors in advanced calculus and have a normal IQ of 100. IQ is how your brain functions, and how it perceives and comprehends problems. There are different tests for adults which is what you will probably be considered when taking the test, and a child which you were at 7. There may be a slight change in IQ by a couple points, but don't expect a 180 because your education.

That means pretty much nothing to worry about.. if the test was taken to try and qualify for aid you would not qualify.

With an IQ of 86 he should be able to handle genealogy education fine..

The test is broken into subcategories and you can see what areas he excels at compared to where he's weaker...

My 8 year old son for example had an IQ of 113 (Average) but was much higher in math an science stuff... his lower scores in other catagories brought his average down.

Also keep in mind kids generally don't take these kinds of tests will which could effect the accuracy of the score..m he should take it aging when he gets a little older.

umm well im not really sure but im 13 and i took an iq test today and got 129 (not that good) im not sure for his age group but for 13 age group 86 was considered poor.

No the average for an 8 year old is 110. I think he needs some help! NO JOKE!
