Removing a car window?
Can anyone tell me how to remove/replace a window on a 1987 Suburban? I have to replace both the drivers door window and the rear drivers side window. I had the windshield replaced already but I was trying to save some money by replacing the smaller windows myself. The windows were broken when a Deer tried to go through them, grrrrrrr
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should make sure your deer are dead before you put them in the Suburban

If you're talking about the small window in the back, behind the roll up window, you'll need to lower the roll up window, and with the door trim removed follow the line of the window edge moulding between the two sections of glass up and on the outside/top edge of the door you'll see a Phillips screw head sticking up. Remove this screw and pry the window moulding and edge support towards the roll up window and remove the pieces of glass and clean up the area them place the replacement glass in the window opening and with a block of wood, carefully tap the glass into position, AFTER you have lubrcated the window edge mouldings with liquid soap.
Once the window is completely installed line up and replace the top screw and the door trim and you should be good to go.
Good luck
