These answers are incorrect. Unless you fry your iPod Touch, or drop it out of the window in your 2nd-floor house, it won't brick.

As I understand, there is ALWAYS a way to fix your iPod Touch, jailbreaking does not erase everything in the process, DFU mode and such are always there, and aren't erased, so if it fails during the process, you can always restore it to normal.

If you compare it to modding the PSP/DS, when it is modded, it has to erase all of its internal memory and write it back, if you turn it off half way through, of course it won't work. (there are clever ways to fix a PSP, but I'll stay on topic lol)

So if it failed, it may not boot or anything, but you can always get to DFU mode and repair it. Try here http://iphonefreakz.com/beginners-guide/howto-dfu-...

    Hope this helps!

If you fail to jailbreak iTouch, nothing happens. Your iTouch will automatically revert.

Well there is a very slim chance of it happening but it will destroy ur touch if it does fail but as I said i have not met anybody where that happened and I have not read about anything online about that happening.

Then you would be literally screwed.

Don't do it! because Apple is coming out with there new update (OS 3.0)

that wont allow "Jailbraking" on a iPhone or iPod.

Worst case scenario: You'll brick it, and you'll have a $200 paperweight.
