Shouldn't the left be upset with obama?

Considering he has already stated the US is a Muslim country, I fear it is a moot question. We (the country) knew what he was when we voted for him. Why would anyone be surprised?

as a politics student with two extremely scary exams coming up next week i figured i'd answer your question for revision purposes, the main decision wouldn't come down to media reaction (although that would affect obama's chances in the next election 4 years from now). the main decision would go to the Supreme Court and they would decide whether or not it is unconstitutional for America to partner with islam, if it casn be argued that it is done in the name of peace and not in an attempt to convert the masses to the Islam way of life then it could happen, but the likehoods involve a hefty examination of the judicial system and the choices made by Obama. Thankfully however the left aren't too upset with him as he has so far succeeded in a lot of his policies, Guantanamo Bay is dead and gone, the economy is still reeling but the lack of bailing out banks means that tax payers money isn't going missing to save a sinking ship and the fact that the republicans have nothing really to sayto any of these manouvres means that perhaps he just pwned there lil white asses...sorry broke my composure there :P x

You are right, Islam is a religion, the US government can't join with a religion in any way, they already took down the 10 commandments, so that is proof that they are serious about not having anything to do with religion, so that would be violating the law to join with Islam in any way.

I thought that 99.9% of those crying about violating church and state were afraid of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Anyways Obama didn't get my vote this time and he WILL NOT get my vote next time.

The seperation of church and state thing gets dermaticallicly abused often. I am sure our for-fathers are "rolling in their graves" as we speak.
