Atheists, what do you prefer to be called?
Atheist?
Heathen?
Infidel?
Other?
Personally I find being called an infidel always brings a smile to my face. But heathen is quite good too.
I find being called an atheist a bit boring.

infidel and heathen are both hilarious and I agree atheist is boring. A personal favourite of mine is non-believer because it's both an accurate term and an insult that makes me laugh! Infidel sounds so funny though I can't seem to get over it!
As long as they don't call me religious I'm not that bothered.

Heathen. Definitely.

Atheist is just right for me. Heathen sounds like some sort of villain or something. And we aren't the bad guys. Infidel makes us sounds like dorks.

Any of the above.
If you want to get technical, I'm actually a pantheist, but Godless Infidel Heathen works too. I enjoy being referred to as a "free thinker" as well, or "heretic."

Man of reason, skeptical thinker, rational thinker, man of science... anything along those lines would be my preference.
But I have to admit, infidel and heathen put smiles on my face, as well.

Heathen? No, it sometimes used to describe a Pagan.
Infidel? No, I think that is used more to describe somebody who doen't believe in YOUR god, rather than ANY god.
I will stick with boring old Atheist.

basically simply by fact they have not got self assurance in a God, does not lead them to barbarians. No, Christians real loving Christians who love their God in no way did call an atheist a barbarian. Christians are no into call calling nor judging.
