What background do I need to have in order to read/comprehend Wealth of Nations?

I am very interested in reading Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith, but upon first skim in the bookstore, I found it a little challenging. Before, I buy the book, can someone tell me how hard is it read Wealth of Nations? I took a lot of social studies class in high school, but never any economic classes. I just graduated from high school. Is the book going to be too challenging? If so, what are prerequisites/books I should read first?

Wealth of nations is not the best book to read about basic economics. And a big part of it is wrong too. Adam Smith bases economics on the labor theory of value, which was disproved by the. marginalists. If you want to read a good basic economics book, read Sowell's Basic economics, Hazlitt's "economics in one lesson" or if you want something more old school you can read Marshall's Principles of economics, or Menger's Principle of economics.
