They can't eat hot dogs, hamburgers, fried chicken or gizzards. They can enjoy the wholesome goodness of carrots. Carrots make up the majority of the vegan diet.

For anyone including vegans it's best to eat a diet based around organic fruit and some vegetables.

Vegans don't eat anything that comes from an animal and most of us do not eat food items that an animal had to die for us to eat, for instance sugar isn't an animal product, but some companies still use charred animal bones to harvest sugar.

There are a lot of animal derived products that you probably aren't aware of. We also have to keep an eye out for fortified foods, because the added vitamins and minerals are sometimes extracted from animal sources.

Vegans can eat bread, but a lot of breads are made with milk and/or eggs.

Being a raw vegan I eat when im hungry, and I eat lots of fruit and some veggies, today I had about half a bag of grapes, 4-5 peaches(nectarines), half a pineapple, 4 bananas, a cucumber and a romaine lettuce.

If you're just a vegan there are a lot meat alternative products which helped me get through the transition, like original vegan boca burgers, boca's chik'n patties, etc.

As per above, nothing that has had any animal involved. Most vegans are much more strict about their foods than vegetarians- for example most vegos would accept cheese that is hardened using rennet(from cows stomach lining) and may wear leather. But a vegan wont even eat HONEY,

As for bread some breads use milk so no, and your'e right yeast is a living thing, but yeast is every where its kinda hard to avoid- we breath it! Having said that, some vegans only eat sour dough bread ( where yeast comes from air). Also lots of big commercial breads have skim milk powder and other nasty e numbers that are not vegan.

E446 is not vegan E435 is sometimes vegan.

veggie curries are great, vegan cakes are easy, so is lots of fruit and tofu seeds and nuts.

And vegans Certainly dONt wear leather!

Vegans are vegatarians (don't eat animals) that also don't eat animal bi-products. The other answer is yes, bread is the main ingredient in vegan cuisine.

cereal with soymilk is a good one, for the morning time

hummus with bread and or salsa an d chips are great

shepards pie (mashed potato crust with veggie stuffing)

We eat tires and grass. Come on people are you really that ignorant? We eat just about everything except for animal products, it's not like we don't eat anything if you believe that I have 5 bridges to sell you plus the deed to NYC!

For those not trolling I enjoyed a delicious spinach and mushroom salad with a coconut sesame vinaigrette for lunch and chickpea cutlets with a caramelized onion and mushroom red wine cream sauce and it was all vegan and all delicious and all homemade and if you want the recipe for either feel free to shoot me a private message and I can share it but the chickpea cutlets were from Veganomicon but everything else was pulled straight from my head.
