Duties of officers include managing and planning missions, not executing the missions as a sniper

I dont for fure know the answer to this question because I am in the Army but I have never heard of an Officer going to sniper school

I have heard of officers going to ranger school, air assault school, airborne school etc just to get the tab or the award but not for missions themselves.

The person that the guy above me mentioned probably went through sniper school when they were enlisted.

    Ground Intelligence Officer.

Upon commissioning your 1st job will be as a sniper scout platoon leader but, as I keep pointing out to people, it's not that simple.

    1) Go to college

    2) Have a high GPA in a decent major

    3) Pray that you get into a commissioning program if your school doesn't have NROTC

    4) Graduate the top of your class so you can be whatever you want or else they'll assign you your MOS (job)

The thing is for a Ground Intelligence Officer there are a bunch of extra requirements needed to get that MOS.
