my six month old baby girl does not like tummy time, eat with spoon or just grab toys , should i be concern?

Its normal every baby is different and you just have to be patient...and give her some time.

Mine is 7 months and still the same pretty much she didnt start grabbing things till she was just over 6months old and she wont take a sippy cup at all she chokes on it so i give her a wee bit of water in her bottle. She has been having alot of trouble eating from the spoon too so it takes alot of time and patience to feed her a wee bit. And shell really only eat bananas mushed up with any kind of skill. Oh and she hates tummy time but figured out last week how to roll from her back to her tummy and then scream her head off till i come save her cause she cant get back...lol....

I hope this helps reassure you a little bit that shes not the only one whose taking their sweet time getting things done.

My six-month old boy doesn't like water either. In fact, he seems to hate it. Tummy time was not something he enjoyed until two weeks ago. So be patient. Once she feels that her neck is strong enough, and that she can release her gas more easily when on her tummy, she will love that too. And you are right, not all the babies have the same interests at the same age. My niece was more active, for example, when she was 6 months old and she reacted more to a host of things that my son doesn't seem to care. You can try water and juice (homemade) on a bottle instead of a sippy cup. Maybe she didn't like the feel of the cup. And don't worry, as long as she is interacting and seems happy she is just fine.

She may just be a picky eater :) You know some people like to have different china on the table for each meal :)

well my soon to be 6 month old, on the 11th, doesnt like tummy time either, but she does like eating from a spoon and grabbing toys, but all babies are different, my friends baby who was born on the same day as me is different from my baby, shes already growing a tooth and loves tummy time

My baby never liked tummy time..she is nine months old now, she she's way too active to be in one place doing one thing...even at her younger months. My baby doesn't even use spoons to eat with at her 9 months, just her hands! Your baby should be interested in toys at this point, but if she's not grabbing toys yet, give her time. All babies develop at different rates...I was worried that my baby wasn't sitting up, but at 8 months, she sat up, learned to stand up, and even jump and dance in the crib! It was all so sudden, I woke up with her standing in the crib! My baby doesn't have teeth yet, but i have noticed babies younger than her with lots of teeth..it's all up to the baby's body, genetics, and just plain ol' development...just enjoy her stages now =)
