Can you explain the differences between Crows, and Ravens?

Many people think that Ravens are Crows, Not true! I know that they are bigger than crows but what are some other differences?

    Ravens are larger, sturdier birds with a thicker bill. Ravens have a diamond shaped tail while crows have a squared off tail. This differnce can be seen easily in flight. Also in flight..crows tend to flap their wings alot, but ravens soar.

    they're of the same genus, Corvus, and you're right, ravens are bigger

    crows have dull black feathers, while raven feathers shine with blue or purple tints. Crows can fluff up their feathers like a mane, ravens can't. Raven tail feathers meet at a point, while crows have an evenly fanned out tail

    they're pretty close though
