I'm a horror/vampire book person myself.

The Silver Kiss is good. Girl with sick mother meets a vampire named Simon, etc. Not a real happy ending but it was great nonetheless.

The book I would recommend to anyone that love reading (no matter what you are interested in most) is HARRY POTTER.

Trust me ( or trust billions of fans ). It would be a missed out if you havn't read it.
