how can i provide financial advice without selling?

i have 4 yr business degree, am a CPA with over 25 yrs tax experience. i want to help people manage money in these tough times. please recommend tests and firms. no master's programs or 20 hr exams, please

    Seems like you want to be financial advisor. But you don't want to sell, so it makes it a little bit more challenging. The role of a financial advisor as you may know already is to give people financial advice during their lifetime to help them reach their financial goals. But problem with the job is that you required by the company that you work for to sell their products, if not, then you're let go.

    What I suggest you check out are non-profit organizations that are there legitimately, whose genuine interest is to help people manage their financial needs or those struggling. Those types of organization aren't really in business to sell or seek money. They are there to help others. So that will take off the pressure of needing to sell stuff and you can focus on helping others.
