Depends on the girl and her lifestyle. Gymnasts get very irregular periods. Diet, exercise, stress, illnesses all play a part.

In the olden days, women got their periods a few times a year and that was normal. As society progressed and women's roles changed and stress levels etc got higher, periods began to come one a month.

There's no medical reason a woman needs to have a period every month.

Depends on your body. If you don't have enough body fat, your reproductive system can shut down and you can go without periods for a long time.

period varies from 24-35 days usually but sometime it does not come for two months .
