Just broke up...facebook?
so my girlfriend of a year and 5 months broke up with me last night. i was sad but i figured it was about time to end it so we both wanted to be friends.
since i was sad i decided to marry one of my friends(a girl) on facebook. shes been telling people that it was rude of me to do that like an hour after breaking up.
i think since she broke up with me she cant control me and tell me not to do this. what do you think?
ok "marrying" on facebook is not actually getting married. she is just a friend its for fun. wow...

I think that was a little bit insensitive of you. The 'married' joke can be funny, but to do it so soon after a break up is a little harsh on your ex. You may have broken up, but for a while at least, you have a moral code of conduct which you both should follow. It's not her controlling you, or you controlling her, it's just an unspoken code of etiquette. But you've not broken it too badly, so just apologize to her, and say it was meant as a friendly joke because you were sad, but that you didn't mean her any offense. Hopefully you can still be friends :)

well, you shouldn't have a girl so she can tell you what to do all the time.
but starting a new relationship with anyone even after a week or two is too soon. Marriage! to someone from the internet! it's your life and you can mess it up however way you want.

Well in my opinion i would be mad because I would feel like you did not care that we broke up and weren't upset about it. So, maybe that is the way she feels.
