Tequila worms. From Mezcal.
By the time you have to eat one you're already drunk and at that point you WANT to eat them because they add a nice little hallucinogenic feeling edge to the drunkeness.
Of course there's also the fact that they are a proven food course full of protein and nutrients, and are in fact a staple part of some of poorer native agave farming indians in mexico. They can be fried up into something that probably passes as kind of tastey.

I've (not knowing at the time) eaten chocolate covered ants & beetles. I've also ingested flys and such, not realizing they were in a keg cup (Until the sun came up) during a party. I lived, so, guess they are edible.
Just don't think about the texture.

Ants! Chocolate or Ketchup/Catsup (I hate that they can't figure out a single way to spell it ... (laughing) They provide a natural resource and if you eat enough you won't starve.
The Honey Pot ants are fantasticly deliscious. They store a sweet protein honey like substance that they gorge on and feed the other ants in the nest. Once they attach themselves to the tops of the roof of the nest they remain their for the rest of their lives. Not all of the Honeypot ants do this ... only a select few and I wonder how they are chosen ... or do they just decide to be heroic on their own. (laughing)
Here are pictures of this unique ant used as a food source and in creative art :

Youtube Video of Honeypot ants : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vjae5RqODFc They become storage vaults and gorge on protein and other sweet substances and feed the other ants. From personal experience they are very deliscious. (smiling)

Those bugs on The Lion King look pretty good for bugs. I would say that big juicy one that Timon eats.

I'd eat locusts... as prescribed by the Oral Traditions of the Yemenite and Sephardic Jews.

Chocolate covered cockroackes; I've had them before when they gave them out at the premiere of the Cockroach King. They were great!

A small beetle. I could just swallow (like a pill) with water.

i would eat a worm because worms don't have legs so they are less likely to go all around your body.also they are easier to go down your throat.hope i helped with your question.
p.s.
its smart to just not eat insects at all.
